October Domestic Violence Awareness Month Events 2025 Saturday, October 4, 2025, 9am-11am; SafeFUR Homes: Family safety is important for everyone – including pets! We are partnering with Intermission Bar for our 3rd annual GET LOUD! event in October for Domestic Violence Awareness Month to raise awareness about Domestic Violence. Any funds raised will go towards lifesaving services at The Women’s Community. There will be live music by Through Crimson. We will have raffle baskets and a 50/50 raffle. A cultural awareness training designed for system and community professionals to gain knowledge and skills to relate effectively with Amish and Plain Mennonite communities. Topics include: history, prevalence, diversity, and structure of the Amish and Plain Mennonites.
