We are currently not accepting any additional internship applications for the fall semester. We have one potential vacancy for the spring semester.

An internship with The Women’s Community, Inc. is an unpaid supplement to the student’s educational course work.  The program is designed to give the student in-depth exposure to the dynamics of domestic violence and sexual assault, which includes instruction, mentorship and “hands-on” work experience.

Internship Duration and Minimum Requirements

Our Internship program is limited to those students who must fulfill a 3 credit requirement.  Therefore, the internship will last a full semester and will be a minimum of 144 hours.

We accept two interns per school semester.

Application Deadlines

In order to determine a suitable match, a cover letter and resume must be submitted with the completed application AT LEAST one month prior to the beginning of the semester.  Reference checks and a criminal background check will then be completed.  Finally, an in-person interview will be the final determining factor.
